You are Christian Esguerra, PhD, one of the most celebrated naturalists and scientists on earth.  There is almost nothing you haven't done and nowhere you haven't been.  You have gone rafting on the Amazon and treasure hunting in the catacombs of Egypt.  You've discovered a new elementary particle while playing around with your local accelerator.  You've even space-walked a little, in orbit around Earth.  The only place you haven't been, you think ruefully, is the center of the Earth.  It was just a childhood fantasy.
