You are a teenaged girl named Jillian. One day you were walking to school when a strange old woman ran at you, screaming jibberish. For reasons too complex for you to understand, she beat you over the head and sent you unconscious... Now you wake, in a strange place you have never seen before.

What a weird place. It looks like you stepped right into another dimension! Looking up, you find yourself staring straight into space. There are billions of stars in the sky and you can see the moon looming above. Looking down, you see that you are standing on a black and white checkerboard. There's a sign here.  Exits are north, east, south and west.
